PCL's new Business Development Manager will drill down solutions for OEMs and End Users

As pneumatics expert PCL continues to develop its highly skilled team, Business Development Manager Claire Tonks is settling into her new role in charge of OEM and End User business.

Tasked with developing and growing new and existing customer accounts, Claire brings considerable expertise to PCL from previous positions in the energy, industrial and automotive markets.

Used to working closely with engineers and across all areas of business, Claire has in-depth knowledge of technical sales, and operates strategically to grow customer databases and increase company turnover.

Her focus on developing solutions that bring benefits for both the organisation and its customers - keeping ahead of the competition to provide the highest performance products at the best price - is perfectly in line with PCL’s commitment to developing long-term partnerships.

After an intensive induction including product familiarisation and spending time in every department, Claire will begin identifying gaps and finding solutions for OEMs and End Users. She said: “I’m looking forward to getting stuck in, drilling down into target areas for PCL’s products to determine which customers they will be of benefit to and bring them to market.”

Claire follows in the well-respected footsteps of Olly Shortland, who has left PCL for pastures new after a successful 15 years, and has received the customary warm welcome from the team.

PCL’s Sales & Marketing Director, Lee Wright, said: “Claire is a great fit for both the role and our company, and has already demonstrated her commitment to identifying solutions that will help new prospects and current customers to develop and thrive. Her account management style is to focus on long term, rather than transactional relationships, which will promote growth for both PCL and its partners. We are excited to see what she will achieve.”
