Alex Bailey to lead results-focused strategy for success

PCL’s new Marketing Campaign Executive Alex Bailey is gearing up to lead the marketing strategy for the company’s innovative Partner+ Programme. 

The initiative, aimed at growing the brand’s market share by supporting distributors to flourish, has steadily gained momentum since its introduction in 2019. Created for distributors who take a broad range of PCL’s cutting-edge products, it enables them to develop and sustain long-term, rather than just transactional sales to their own customer base. 

Alex brings expertise in partner relationship management from her previous role within the manufacturing industry, therefore she is well-equipped to build strong connections with PCL’s key partners; providing the tools they need for impactful marketing

Pneumatic Components Limited (PCL), the world-leading brand for tyre inflation and compressed air products, has extended a traditionally warm Yorkshire welcome to its new subsidiary company, UK valve manufacturer Colson X-Cel Ltd.

The purchase of the globally respected manufacturer of industrial valves for the control and regulation of liquids and gases officially completed on 5th June.

PCL’s ultimate shareholder INDUS Holding AG said Rotherham-based Colson will further strengthen INDUS’s international strategy of local-for-local manufacturing. The medium-sized company has around 40 employees, generates annual sales of around £6m, and has been an established, key supplier of valves to the chemical, offshore, oil and gas industries since the 1990s.

PCL’s SUP Inflation Station is set to make even bigger waves in the world of watersports with the help of new distributor SUP-air Cymru.

Mobile ‘showcase’ will take products and training to customers, trade shows and open days

PCL has invested in a brand new ‘Demo Van’ to showcase its world-leading pneumatic solutions and inflation technology.  

Its primary use will be to provide live demonstrations of products at customer premises, whilst also enhancing training on new and existing products. 

PCL already provides bespoke training for distributors on new and existing products; however the van will allow a close-up view with hands-on learning.

PCL is proud to reinforce its commitment to UK manufacturing and its home city’s history of steelmaking with the launch of the UK Standard Push Button Safety Coupling.

High performance SUP Inflator takes the pain out of pumping

Pneumatics expert PCL has teamed up with Red Paddle Co, the world's leading brand for inflatable Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP), to launch a solution that gets paddleboarders swiftly and safely out on the water.

Together they have formed the perfect partnership for the creation of the dual-branded SUP Inflation Station range, for use at paddle boarding locations across the UK and worldwide.
